1977 Porsche 911 SC 3.0 – Part 2

After introducing you to our Porsche 911 project car earlier in the year it has been quite a busy summer. Our specialist insurance policy was for an annual 5,000 miles. We covered that in two months…

So, it’s about time to start bringing you up to speed on what has been going on!

After the team at Autofarm gave it a check over and a clean bill of health we headed over to Ireland for the start of this year’s Gumball 3000 rally. Whilst out there we were introduced to The Sallygap, a magical piece of tarmac used back in the 1980s on the Circuit of Ireland Rally. Just south of Dublin this road is the stuff of legend and is a very challenging road with blind crests, off-camber corners, narrow bridges and plenty of unsettling bumps. Not ideal for our circuit prepared daily driver, but, it was great fun and we put together this video which we hope you like.
